Description
Koh-I-Noor is a 58ft semi-traditional narrowboat built in 2009 by Andrew Hooke. With attractive ash woodwork throughout, comfortable accommodation for up to four people and a well-equipped interior, she offers an appealing combination of practicality and comfort for extended cruising or life aboard.
The bedroom features a fixed cross double bed, complemented by cupboards, a wardrobe, shelving and reading lights, providing useful storage and a comfortable place to unwind.
The walkthrough bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower over, a vanity basin and a Thetford cassette toilet.
The galley offers a Thetford cooker, 12V Shoreline fridge, laminate worktops and a good range of cupboards and shelving. Plumbing is in place for a washing machine, while a side hatch brings in additional natural light and ventilation.
A Pullman dinette provides a dedicated dining space and converts into an additional double berth, making it ideal for accommodating guests.
In the saloon, a two-seater sofa, corner storage cupboards and LED lighting create a welcoming living area, with a Squirrel stove adding warmth and character on cooler days.
Powered by a Barrus Shire 40hp engine with twin alternators, Koh-I-Noor also benefits from Webasto central heating supplying radiators throughout the boat.
Further equipment includes an inverter, two 250W solar panels, one starter and three leisure batteries, shore power connection at the bow and stern, and a galvanic isolator. Front and rear covers provide additional shelter.
Combining a practical layout, comfortable accommodation and useful onboard equipment, Koh-I-Noor is well suited to those looking to enjoy life on the waterways, whether exploring the network or settling into a slower pace of life afloat.
