Description
Apollo is a charming 57ft Traditional Stern narrowboat, built and fitted out by Colecraft in 1999, offering comfortable accommodation for up to six people. Full of character, her warm wood-panelled interior, traditional styling and thoughtful layout create a welcoming home afloat, whether you're looking for a weekend escape or extended cruising.
The spacious open-plan saloon provides a comfortable place to relax, featuring a built-in upholstered sofa with storage beneath, built-in shelving and cupboards, and a solid fuel stove set on a tiled hearth. The adjoining L-shaped dinette comfortably seats up to four and can be converted to provide additional sleeping accommodation, while the large opening side hatch allows plenty of natural light and ventilation.
The well-equipped U-shaped galley offers excellent storage and includes a Stoves 2200 gas oven and grill, four-burner gas hob, Shoreline 12V fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and sink with mixer tap and drainer. A Morco Eco-Plus instantaneous gas water heater, tiled splashback and wood-effect flooring complete the practical and attractive space.
The bedroom features a fixed double bed with upholstered headboard and storage beneath, alongside a built-in wardrobe and overhead shelving. Traditional-style cupboard doors, a roof hatch, side hatch and porthole provide plenty of character, light and ventilation.
The bathroom is well appointed with a bath and shower attachment, cassette toilet, corner wash basin, vanity cupboard and mirrored wall cabinet. A radiator provides additional comfort.
Apollo is powered by a Beta Marine diesel engine and benefits from a Victron EasySolar inverter charger with MPPT solar charge controller, Webasto central heating and a multifuel stove. The engine room also provides useful built-in storage and houses a Hotpoint top-loading washing machine.
With her traditional character, flexible accommodation and excellent range of onboard facilities, Apollo offers a great combination of comfort and practicality for cruising the waterways or enjoying life afloat.
