Description
Lazy Daisy is a beautifully presented 60ft semi-traditional narrowboat, combining quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design and comfortable accommodation for up to four people. Built on an Alexander Boats shell and featuring a bespoke Kingsground fit-out, she was commissioned in 2007 and launched in 2008, offering a well-planned interior with excellent storage and a welcoming feel throughout.
The accommodation begins in the bedroom at the stern, where a generous king-size cross bed is complemented by bedside tables, overhead cupboards, a full-height wardrobe and additional storage beneath the bed. Moving forward, the spacious walk-through bathroom features a large quadrant shower, vanity unit, Vetus pump-out toilet and heated towel rail, creating a practical and comfortable space for life aboard.
The L-shaped galley is well equipped for preparing meals on board, with recycled glass and resin worktops, quality timber cabinetry, a pull-out larder, Shoreline fridge and freezer, microwave and compact electric oven. A single-ring induction hob provides an additional cooking option, while the side hatch opposite the galley brings in extra natural light and ventilation. The Wallas diesel hob will require servicing.
Further forward, the raised dinette provides a versatile space for dining and entertaining, with upholstered bench seating and a table that can accommodate up to six people. The dinette also converts into a double berth, making the most of the boat's four-berth layout, with useful storage beneath the seating.
At the bow, the inviting saloon offers a relaxing place to unwind, furnished with two captain's chairs and footstalls, a coffee table and a movable storage unit. Glazed bow doors and large windows allow plenty of natural light to fill the space, while the television, terrestrial and satellite reception, and radio provide entertainment on board.
Comfort is supported by a Beta 43 engine and Webasto diesel central heating, with radiators fitted throughout the accommodation. Quality timber joinery, generous storage and a practical layout make Lazy Daisy an appealing choice for anyone seeking a well-equipped narrowboat for extended cruising or enjoyable time on the waterways.
Built by Alexander Boats and fitted out by Kingsground, Lazy Daisy brings together craftsmanship, comfort and versatility in an attractive 60ft package.
